31 Days to Change the World: Your Turn

Using a pretty color to let you know that apparently a computer is sometimes needed to tell someone how to change the world for less than $50.

However, it isn't needed to get out and actually do something.  So... while my little friend is visiting with my local geeks, I'd love to hear your ideas or what you've done lately.

Let's share them here in the comments.  Hope to be back up and running soon!

  2. I love the idea of paying for a meal for the car behind you in the fast food drive. This one act may not change the world at that time but the ripple effect can.

    1. I love this idea! A local radio station here encourages people to do it on Wednesdays. They call it the "Drive Thru Difference" and even have a letter you can print out to hand to the cashier as an explanation. http://wgts919.com/difference/

  3. Ah, friend! Sorry that you are having to go through this. Talk about crazy timing!
Our church (and I am guessing most churches do this!) supports our local mission that reaches out to the poor and homeless in our community. We support the major drives, but also have a bin always available for anyone to drop off items. I love the weekly reminder to care about the needs of our community. My goal over the next year is to buy one extra item every time I go grocery shopping to drop in the donation bin.

    1. Yes!! I so often forget the daily needs. Even grocery stores will often have a place to put donated items for a food bank. Great reminders!
