On the surface this seems redundant after W is forWomen. However, if women are the forest,
you are the trees - each singular, fabulous, intriguing YOU!
As we comment, tweet, chat, or even talk over cooling
cups of our favorite drinks I am getting to know YOU better. That, my friend, is PURE JOY! Where the DNA can no longer determine who I
am, you step in. You become the paint,
the veneer, the dressing of my life.
My eyes open wider as I learn to see through your eyes by
the words that you share. Your tears
water my soul and grow tender shoots of understanding that are fresh and often
painful. I grow because you offer up yourselves as nourishment to a hungry
heart.
My secret hope is that I do the same for you.
3 I thank my God every time I
remember you. 4 In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy 5
because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now, 6 being
confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to
completion until the day of Christ Jesus.

Oh, sweet sister! This is one of your most beautifully written posts. Just lovely! And just so you know, you have encouraged me to grow in so many different ways- through your friendship, your generosity, your creativity, your passion for life and others, your love for Jesus, and your bravery in pursuing dreams! I love YOU! :)
ReplyDeleteOkay, now your words are making me teary. You have all those qualities and share them so freely with us all. I think you are actually seeing a reflection. :)
DeleteYou are able to express yourself so beautifully!! It's been a pleasure to find your blog and get to know you a little during this challenge, and I intend to keep on visiting also after April is over. Thanks for your many nice and encouraging comments over on my site!
ReplyDeleteOh, thank you so much. Getting to know you a little better and listening to your music has truly been the hidden gem in this challenge. I promise that I will NOT be posting 6 or 7 times a week on a regular basis. Even I don't want to hear myself that much. :)
DeleteWell, I wouldn't mind! I like blogs with frequent updates :)
DeleteDear Amy,
ReplyDeleteI have missed you and like you, I do enJOY getting to know others as I read their words. How was your (in)RL get together. I went to my first one at Jennifer Camp's lovely home, and I met two new bloggers :) Blessings on this Monday :)
It was lovely! We had about 40 people I think. I didn't realize you two lived so close together. I threatened to crash hers, if I had been in the area. Seeing you would've been an extra treat. I got to know two girls that are twins. One is also a fellow (in)Courager. Love seeing what comes out of these meetups - and blogs. ;)
DeleteAh loved this.
ReplyDeleteThanks, sweetheart!
DeleteBeautiful post. :)
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteHi Amy. I feel the same way. This A to Z challenge has been a treasure of "you"s to meet and get to know. What a blessing it has been. Thanks for your beautiful words. God bless, Maria at Delight Directed Living
