I have been blessed so much by entering this online
bloggy world. My first steps were not as
fledgling writer (ACK! that word) but as a reader. Through the years, the twists andturns of relationships have led to amazing opportunities.
Nearly a year ago, my life took a huge leap in a way that
felt so right, but so small at the same time.
Which leads me to ask if you are interested in taking this small leap
with me this year? If so, what are your
plans for April 26 & 27?
I’m talking about the (in)RL unconference all about the
hard work of STAYING in community. The best part is that this is COMPLETELY FREE Y'ALL!!
In just over 2 weeks, thousands of women will sit in
front of their computers, laptops, tablets, or smart phones to receive a
blessing in video format. These same
women will gather together on Saturday around the world in groups of 2 to 100
for yet another blessing – COMMUNUITY! I
will be one of those women and I’d love for you to be one, too!
Go to incourage.me to register for this year’s most
fabulous unconference for women – (in)RL 2013!!
I can assure you that you have no idea what you are missing, unless you
went last year and are unable to attend this year. (So sorry if this happens to
be you.) After you register, find a local meetup to attend. The link is right there with the
registration.
Because of last year’s meetup, I was able to eventually
grow relationships with new women and become involved with the (in)Couragecommunity groups. I have received
way more encouragement than I have given – that’s another benefit of being in
community with others.
If you are feeling alone in your situation or season of
life there is a group for you. The second
session is coming to a close, but groups will be forming again in the fall.
Jump in and let the water of friendship wash over you.
16 May our Lord Jesus Christ Himself and God our
Father, who has loved us and given us eternal encouragement and good hope by
grace, 17 encourage
your hearts and strengthen you in every good work and word.
2 Thessalonians 2:16-7
It has been a while since I stopped by your home, and I miss it. I so wish I could come, I so really wanted to host, but we are going to be gone in St. Louis for a comp. Will there be a way to see it later?
ReplyDeleteI can check and see for you. I'm glad you stopped by, I need to do the same. I've been a bit of a hermit lately. I hope you enjoy St. Louis (just don't tell me you are a Cards fan). :)
DeleteWhat a neat idea! Sounds like a great conference.
ReplyDeleteYou should definitely check it out. I just had to edit my post because I forgot to put in here that it is absolutely free. Yikes! How could I forget that?
DeleteWould love for you to join, Danica!
DeleteWhat can I say? Love walking this road with you. Thank you for honoring me by choosing to include me in your journey. So blessed by that Amy! I can't even say how much!!!
ReplyDeleteWe had a planning meeting for our meetup last night. At this point, I have no idea if I will be there or not!!! These next couple of weeks are sure to be interesting.
Dave asked me if I was going to live blog the labor and delivery! Seriously?!!! :)
Spoken like the husband of a blogger. I think it's more vlog or podcast material myself! ;) If people are going to learn about me then they have to learn about you - this is just where I am right now and hopefully for a long time to come. I'm sure everyone will understand if you are MIA for the INRL. Just to be safe, maybe you should register the baby, too! :)
DeleteI did this online last year, but there always seem to be relatively few bloggers in my area. Plus, I have TKD classes on those mornings. ;) I know you will have a blast again.
ReplyDeleteYou should register so you can watch the video content anyway. This isn't just for bloggers, so if you know anyone who might be interested, please share the link. I'm definitely looking forward to it.
Delete2 Weeks away!!!!! Yaaaaaaaaay!
ReplyDeleteI know!!! So excited!!
DeleteIt's girls I've met like you, Amy, that make this inRL event something I look forward to! even though the introvert inside tells me not to go there;) Only wish our meet ups were at the same location! {HUGS}
ReplyDeleteI haven't commented yet, but your post made me want another phone conversation - a real one without babies due and impending weather. Warm hugs to you, friend!
DeleteI have received way more encouragement than I have given – that’s another benefit of being in community with others. <-- love that! Thanks for sharing!
